Starting his career in Scozia, Deverdics joined Gretna in the 2006/07 season. In the Scottish Championship, he played six matches and scored one goal. This promising start led to a move to the Scottish Premiership where, in the 2007/08 season, he featured in 25 matches and netted two goals.
In 2008/09, Deverdics ventured into English football, signing with Barnet in League Two. He played a significant role, making 29 appearances, scoring one goal, providing one assist, and receiving three yellow cards. He also featured in two FA Cup matches. The following season, he continued with Barnet, playing 16 games and scoring one goal in League Two, and featuring in three FA Cup matches.
After his successful stint at Barnet, Deverdics joined Blyth Spartans in the National League North for the 2010/11 season. The following season, Deverdics decided to pursue a new challenge, joining BI/Bolungarvik in the 1. Deild league in Islanda. He played 20 matches, netted two goals, and received three yellow cards. In the same season, he also made appearances for Dover Athletic in the National League, playing five matches.
For the 2017/18 season, Deverdics split his time between Hartlepool United and Wrexham AFC in the National League.
