Tugay Kerimoglu è un ex calciatore turco che ha avuto una carriera illustre che si è sviluppata principalmente nel suo paese natale e in Inghilterra. È particolarmente conosciuto per il suo tempo trascorso con il Blackburn Rovers, dove è stato un elemento chiave della squadra per molti anni.
Tugay ha iniziato la sua carriera professionistica nel 1987 con il Galatasaray, una delle squadre più prestigiose della Turchia. Dopo aver trascorso alcuni anni a sviluppare le sue abilità e guadagnarsi un posto nella squadra titolare, Tugay ha iniziato a farsi notare con le sue prestazioni in campo. Ha dimostrato grande versatilità, agilità e una grande visione di gioco, posizionandosi come uno dei migliori centrocampisti del suo tempo.
Tugay ha ricevuto un'opportunità per mostrare il suo talento a livello internazionale nel 1993, quando il Galatasaray ha partecipato alla UEFA UEFA Champions League.
